She was proactive in helping avoid a fake seller from trying to sell our empty lot in Spruce Creek. We were quite impressed that she paused when she was contacted by the fake seller and did the appropriate due diligence to locate and validate/alert us as the correct owner of the land. She may have been the first to be contacted by the fake seller, yet, we know, she will not be the last. Her actions will hopefully prevent other agents from being scammed. We had this happen to us in 2024 with an agent actually being conned by the fake seller enough to spend her own money to get a survey of our property as well as pictures and posted a listing. We were lucky that our landscaper contacted us about a sign on our property and we were able to get the listing removed. By no means was the experience pleasant as we filed police reports and alerted the Spruce Creek security team. We are thankful that Janet showed her leadership with understanding seller fraud. She shared with us the actions she took to confirm the validity of the fake seller email as well as gave us actionable plans she was going to do (alert the real estate board that our property was not for sale) and recommendations for us to undertake too. She is a gem. We will not hesitate to send neighbors, friends, and family to her when they have real estate needs in the Volusia area.

Helped and worked well with issues that arose in our sale. Responded to any questions on a timely fashion. Was available to speak with on many occasions that we needed to speak to her.

She answered my calls, day and night, and walked me through the process every step of the way. A few of the homes I was interested in had prior flooding and were in flood zones. Janet was transparent and honest, and gave me all the information I needed to make decisions on which home I would choose. Now that I closed, I’m so glad I found Janet and she was the person that I chose to help in making one of the biggest decisions of my life. She gave me fantastic recommendations in who to use as a mortgage broker, and whenever I wasn’t sure of what to expect, she guided me through the uncertainty.
